  • cheap boxers

    banana republic - 5 for $20.

i bought 10 of them and it came down to about $3.61per boxer.

it's the one located at the citadel outlet mall, off of the 5 freeway.

most of them are ugly, but a good deal.

  • something cool

i don't know if anyone remembers, but i have a japanese technology blog.

there is 100% no original content, and i just copy and paste mainstream media news.

the cool thing that happened related to this blog is that today for the first time, i noticed that when i post an entry into the blog, my post gets posted on google finance's blog section!

i got a few hits from it starting 8pm-ish and some of them clicked on the google adsense advertising.

    i made a whole 0.33cents today!

if google continues to add my blog entries into google finance, this traffic might add up. :)

  • relaxation technique

i think my running full body massage technique is going to keep evolving over the next few weeks.

i went to santa monica beach today and walked 2 hours to get a nice tan.

i ended up having a nice mental breakthrough, sorta like meditation.

when i started to walk, i focused on relaxing my feet first......

"actually, this whole full body massage idea started from my feet. after running a whole week, i noticed that my big toe on my foot was starting to hurt. so, i realized that i was running improperly.
i didn't have enough compassion & consideration for my feet. so while i ran, i practiced finding exactly the right way to relax my feet so that it didn't get pounded by the pavement."

anyways, i started with my feet. i made sure my feet were totally relaxed when i was walking.

    i would say to myself...

     "my feet are relaxed."

when my feet were totally comfortable, i noticed my neck and shoulders were tense.

so while i walked, i focused on relaxing my neck and shoulders.

    "my neck is relaxed"

    "my shoulders are relaxed"

all this while, my walking movement is giving these areas a nice vibration massage.

    "my head is relaxed"

    "my stomach is relaxed"

i prolly worked each area about 5-10 minutes until that particular area was relaxed.

i did many other areas, but the last one was...

    "my face is relaxed"

then i realized my whole body was relaxed.

    i was totally comfortable walking.

i had loosened up everything. so, there wasn't anywhere else to focus on my body.

then my attention went from my body to my surroundings.

here, i was stuck in my little world focusing on the problems of myself and my body.

but since that was gone, all my attention went towards my environment.

    naturally, my mind said...

    "the world is relaxed."

all of sudden, the world, which usually seems like a very chaotic, angry, and hostile place, seemed very quiet and serene.

the people around me seemed really friendly and relaxed.

i was actually totally stress free for a few minutes walking.

    the whole world seemed relaxed.

the world felt like like a reflection of my inner being.

  • the full body massage aka running

today i had a really new type of day.

i basically used what i learned this morning about relaxing the body while running, on my daily activities.

everything i did, i tried to focus on being relaxed while doing it.

then, i realized everything that i did became kinda fun!

when i subtracted the tenseness & stress from my daily routine & job, all that was left was enjoyment of the most basic things.

i'm gonna see how far i can take this.

i just started today, so can't wait to see how i am like in a month. :)

  • running aka full body massage

since i am gonna make it a habit to run each day, i thought it would be good to make it something more enjoyable than it already is.

change it up a little bit.

i had the task of running set up as a challenge, where i would strive to breakthrough my limit and reach higher ground.

i think i will use this type of mentality when i reach a peak where i am struggling and need extra energy from deep within to break barriers.

drawback is this energy is hyper aggressive and angry almost.

but, i found a way to use running as a relaxing experience.

before, each stride i took felt like a challenge.

but my new style is to look forward to each stride as an opportunity to experience pleasure.

i realized that if you relax your body and enjoy each time the foot hits the ground, you give yourself the opportunity to take advantage of the vibration coming up the legs to massage every part of your body.

when you focus on the good feeling that the vibrations from the stride creates, it becomes a pleasurable experience.

your pace slows, your attention goes from pain to pleasure, and you feel like your body becomes immersed within and become part of your environment.

no worries, no pain, just you & your body enjoying a slow, relaxing, full body massage. :)

  • a man climbed to the top of the new york times building with his bare hands!!!

    The Solution is Simple

UPDATE: Alain climbs the New York Times building. Check it out on the NYT City Room blog.

This morning, Alain Robert, a French rock climber, began
climbing one of the tallest buildings in Manhattan, The New York Times
Building, demanding action on climate change at the G8 in a few weeks.
We wish Alain good luck on his adventure — we will be live-blogging the
event here at 350.org, so check back often.
Here are a few words from Alain himself:

I am climbing with my bare hands, as a PEACEFUL way to create
support for far greater and urgent action from world leaders on global
warming. Greenhouse gas emissions are still climbing. So am I!!!

    But The Solution Is Simple:

1 - Stop Cutting Down Trees. Plant More Trees.
2 - Make Everything Energy Efficient.
3 - Only Make Clean Energy.

Next month world leaders meet at the G8 in Japan. By December 2009,
world leaders must sign a global agreement to reduce carbon emissions
in the atmosphere to 350 parts per million - the only safe level
    according to the latest science.

WE can help make sure this happens.

I am encouraging everyone to please JOIN the adventure and together,
millions of us will help make change happen. Rise to the challenge at www.thesolutionissimple.org
    Thank you.

  • obama's name.

obama's name is one letter different from osama. obama > osama bin laden.

his middle name is hussein. saddam hussein

his first name barrack, is where troops are accommodated during wars. the iraq war.

dude, his name is so magically related to the war on terror. lol

    barrack hussein osama.

his real dad is muslim, his current father is asian, his mom is white.

i think he is gonna chose hilary as his running mate.

first black president & first woman VP for america.

    wow, america is changing bigtime.

  • wth

    146.6 pounds. lol

i need to start eating more.

i think the running is actually burning off so much calories that if i keep this pace, i'll honestly be about 140 pounds in a few weeks.

i need to up my food intake now, maybe 1.5 bowls per sitting.

  • oddest couple

this late 60's old, alcoholic-seeming, upper lower-class looking white guy was with a decently dressed, beautiful asian woman in her early 40s. wtf. how the hell did they get matched up. it's gotta be an internet meeting. i really want to know how they met.

  • to self

    1. recognize and honestly admit faults &mistakes and quickly work to correct it.

    2. it's better to repeat a positive affirmation in your mind than dwell on anything negative.

    3. don't brag, or rub-in ideas that are self-praising, it only creates animosity.

    4. don't feel you are naturally entitled to things. it diminishes the enjoyment when you attain it, and leaves you without any thankfulness when it arrives.

    5. the way to overcome obstacles such as tiny evils is to counter with love.

    6. work on creating an aura that is manly, but not overly offensive.
