    1. only eat meats @ lunch time. breakfast & dinner = purely vegetables & eggs.

    2.  continue running everyday, it is one of the best time investments in existence.

    3. get oil change at 182,500.

    4. visit venice beach often.

    5. after finishing off a bottle of red wine, don't open a new one for atleast 3 days. give liver time to chill.

    6. say hi to everyone

    7. learn how to full body stretch.

    8. answer: 5. deciding to jump is totally different from actually jumping. even if i think, decide, declare, dream of doing something, if i don't actually do it, it doesn't become an action.

    9. action, action, action.

    10. shout into pillow at full volume, atleast once a day.

  • question

There are five frogs on a lily pad one decides to jump how many frogs are left?

  • running is the human body's reset button

ever since i started running, i am feeling emotions, physical senses and intelligence i haven't enjoyed in a decade.

lifting weights is one thing, but i think running really forces juices & energy into areas that have become pinched off or dormant from disuse.

they say that humans only use 10% of their brain. (altho i just found out on wikipedia that this is a misconception, i'm gonna use this theory anyways) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_brain

i think people who run regularly are using their brains at the max of 10%.

people who don't run, maybe 5-7%

if you want to boost your intelligence, physical pleasures, and experience deeper emotions, i recommend you start running. :)

  • lcd vs. crt

is it me or does the bulky crt's have superior image quality than current lcd's?

  • venice beach

it's been a long long long time since i went to venice beach. i'm glad i went today.

i found out that it costs only $25 to create a booth on the venice beach promenade.

the annual fee is $10. so damn cheap!

but, the items you can sell at the booth is limited to original artwork with a political or spiritual message.

i looked over all the booths and most of them don't seem like original artwork. (???)

the business type lots are actually much more expensive. during the winter it's less than 1k. but, now, during the summer, since it's really busy, it's 2k/mo.

i didn't know those vendors made so much money. how do you sell 2k worth of sunglasses or bongs per month?

the traffic on the venice beach promenade is more than i expected.

since it is a world famous spot w. many attractions, i guess it makes sense.

i read a book about healthy living by montell williams. it basically focused on eating vegetables & fruits.

i think i'm gonna start up my vegetable habit again.

i had been controlling the quantity pretty damn good, but the quality was in-n-out level.

also worked out and ran before going to work today.

    was a productive day.

  • simple thoughts, simple actions

it just seems like all the complex tasks & situations that i get myself into usually don't work out.

this is because when there are complexities involved, there are so many unpredictable factors that pop up and somehow quell the seemingly reasonable plan.

even with simple plans & actions there exists a certain amount of unpredictability.

keeping it simple will give me reliable results.

the gains might seem boring or miniscule compared to risky endeavors, but i am thinking these small simple gains will eventually add up to something worthwhile.

also these small reliable gains may in the long run, outsize large, fast gains from risky actions.

  • simple thoughts, simple actions

i am starting to realize that i am not really cut out to make complex moves in life.

i'm sticking to the basics from now on.

maybe if i do the basics really really well, it will equal to something worthwhile.

  • gas prices need to come down

gas prices are like a lifeline to my self enjoyment and entertainment. i love driving out to different places just to take a stroll and be around people. with gas prices so high, it forces me to become local. i want to be able to drive out anywhere i please, like i did before. these oil prices are a scam. i believe the us government, oil companies, and opec are working in unison to manipulate oil prices. this shit needs to be regulated. 4.23 for a gallon of gas? wtf!!! diesel is already over 5 bucks.

    1. never put myself down.
    2. never make my life seem less than what it is.

  • to self

    1. no inappropriate comments, think quickly before speaking

    2. never put other people down

    3. listen to everything the other person has to say before saying anything.

    4. don't give advice to people unless they ask for it.

    5. don't ask personal questions

    6. just because it feels good saying something, doesn't mean it's the same for the people who are listening to it.

    7. putting other people down may seem like you are superior in the short term, but in the long run this strategy is a failure.

    8. when you put other people down, you are putting yourself down. you create a downward momentum instead of a rising one.

    9. most people are not stupid. everyone has an instinct to sniff out the truth. the truth shows itself subtly in action, words, gesture, facial expression. knowing this, it is perhaps better to always be honest & truthful since all of it will get out someway or another anyways.

    10. feminine women rock.

    11. innate intelligence is not enough. experience puts the intelligence into action.

  • good intentions have magical powers

this is all speculation, but i think good intentions have magical powers.

when you set out to accomplish a goal with good intentions, it has a way of multiplying it's power on it's own.

it's like you set out to do something good, then all these other good things start happening that you had no intentions of doing.

it just starts to happen and it keeps multiplying.
