Yeah, which’s pretty screwed up. People/consumers caused the chaos. There was a recommendation about a week ago to be careful of IndyMac’s performance… because of that, people withdrew over $1,000,000,000 due to fear. Well, take $1B from most any company and they’ll crumble. Freaking idiots. Here’s another hint at that: Yes, almost all accounts are FDIC insured, except for only 10,000 accounts that are only partially insured. I’m sure there were waaaaay more accounts in limbo pre-announcement, but ‘smart’ people pulled out as soon as they could, just in case, which caused this whole mess. Anyways, If I come across more info, I’ll let u kno. All I kno is, I’m 1 of the victims in this. *sigh*

@ThurzNite - dang, i hope the hit was not too big. i had seen the news on drudgereport, but didn’t understand the enormity of this news until i saw the long line in front of indymac.
@mooks_dayoo - thanx for the support. it’s only money, I’ll figure out a way to replace the loss. *sigh* keep moving forward, right?
