  • if you never forgive others, you can never forgive yourself.
and, if you never forgive yourself, others can not forgive you.
a part of your emotion is trapped, until you learn to forgive.

if you can forgive others, you can forgive yourself.
and, if you can forgive yourself, others will forgive you.
your emotions can be released, if you can easily forgive.

    i can forgive it all.
    i forgive myself.
    i will be forgiven.

lately, i feel like forgiveness is the key to long lasting relationships
because, eventually stuff is gonna happen between two people.
and if either side don't have the ability to forgive.
    the relationship is over.

  • This reminds me of the lyrics to a Japanese song I know... grr it's tickling my brain but I can't remember what it is. XD

Anyway, on to the other part of my comment. While it's true that shit happens in relationships, forgiveness does not necessarily mean the relationship will survive whatever transgression that one (or both) of them committed.

  • @shoujo - that's true, the relationship may not survive as it was before. but with forgiveness, it will meet minimal requirements for civility.
