holy shit, i hadn't cried in a long time.
it was on mtv's true life.
this high school kid heard his mom's voice say his name "christopher" for the first time in his life,
after getting cochlea implant.
wow, technology can make deaf people hear nowadays.
fucking incredible.i was really happy for the mom. imagine giving birth to a deaf child and he can't hear anything you say.
and after 15 years of raising them, one day they can actually hear you.
that's too much. -
how to heal canker sores in less than a week.
the internet says mix half portion hydrogen peroxide with water... but i just put 100% hydrogen peroxide directly onto the canker sore. it takes away the pain and it goes away in like 3-4 days. but, you have to keep re-applying it after each meal and after brushing your teeth. i gargled with it too, to prevent future canker sores.. surprising side effect is that my teeth look whiter. lol

big shift in mentality today...
my lack of confidence in social skills was probably an deep underlying belief that.."i suck at social skills."
it's not that i'm not good at it, i just believed i wasn't good at it.
so, today... i tried, "i'm cool with people."
and, my usual hesitations and criticisms of self wasn't there.
people treat me differently too because i believed today that i was "cool with people."
i can now build on this, and get my confidence with people high.
it's just getting started.
i was at -15, now i'm at around +4.
if i can get myself to 6 to 10... i'll be so happy. -
Choosing the Right Firmness for Your New Pillow
One of the most important differentiating factor among pillows is firmness. A soft and fluffy pillow looks supremely inviting, but with it's lack of support, it may not be the right kind of pillow for you. People sleep differently which means that they need different types of support.
Here is a quick guide to help you choose the right level of firmness for your pillow:
- Soft Pillows
- Medium Pillows
- Firm Pillows
You should consider a soft pillow if you are a stomach sleeper or back sleeper. A soft pillow provides just the right amount of support for stomach sleepers while cradling the head without forcing it out of alignment. You may also benefit from a soft pillow if you are petite. If you like to scrunch up your pillow, then a soft pillow is also the best option for you.
You should consider a medium pillow if you sleep mainly on your back or sides. Medium pillows are best for back sleepers, and they offer a little more support to keep the head aligned properly with the spine. Medium pillows are also ideal for people who prefer pillows that are supportive yet still soft and plush.
Firm pillows are best for people who sleep primarily on their sides. A firm pillow will adequately fill the large space between your shoulder and neck providing proper spinal alignment and a healthy sleep posture. Firm pillows are also recommended for taller or larger people because they provide more support

Food Combining for Better Digestion
http://www.puristat.com/bloating/foodcombining.aspx
The first rule of digestion that almost everyone violates is over-consumption. It may sound shocking, but you can survive on one-third of your daily food intake. Our eyes are often bigger than our stomachs. The number one cause of indigestion is over-consumption.
One problem is that our brains are about ten minutes behind our stomachs. This means that once our stomachs are full, our brains don't give us that "full feeling" until ten minutes later. To avoid over-consumption you should stop eating before you get the feeling of fullness (go for half full).
Look at how much you have on your plate and keep in mind that you can survive on one third of your daily food intake. With each meal decrease the size of your portions. A general and easy rule of thumb is a portion size should be no bigger than the size of your fist.
