  • got some organic peppermint tea @ whole foods bc
    vitamin shoppe didn't carry it, nor did ?arget.
    supposedly good for digestion, tastes like wrigley's spearmint gum.
    i'm doing whatever i can to improve my digestive system.
    but, i have a feeling no matter how well you treat the digestive system with herbs
    nothing does better for it than calorie restriction & biting food thoroughly before swallowing.

  • I dont recall where I got this fact, I think it was from my rx notes, but peppermint may cause digestion to relax via the sphincter muscles or some points at the digestive tract, causing it to keep open, and eg acid reflux..(.Just overdo it.) Check me on this.
