alhambra library is having a book sale 10 cents each... dvds/videos are 1dollar each.
i picked up 5 books...
1. styles of thinking - strategies for asking questions, making decisions and solving problems
2. looking out for #1 how to spend time on those things that make you happiest and shows how your happiness benefits others
3. visceral learning towards a science of self control
4. power! how to get it and how to use it.
5. the art of living by ching kung.yea, all for 50 cents. what a deal.
remember my lucky neko collection? that collection was decimated through my financial tragedy years.. it was down to the original yellow one... now they are back in full force on my desk. they have backup too.. i got like 5 boxes with 24 each in them.
behind the cats is an amazon.com $25 giftcard. the story behind it is pretty amazing. some dude that i sold an item to online wanted to get a refund after opening the item. he thought i would be pissed because it was basically what he wanted and just wanted to back out of it because he found a different item that he wanted. i was pissed a little. but gave him the refund. with the item he shipped back a $25 gift card. i got free money because the item that i got , i just returned to a store for a full refund. lol
and, on the monitor above the nekos and the amazon giftcard... is my xanga page... in the advertisement it says... "stop drinking alcohol." lol

I thought they always had books for sale for the "Friends of the Library" organization? They were always cheap

I love self-help books.
i was in mountain view,ca the other day. and my friends and i went to like 2 garage sales. books were liek a quarter. i got stephen kings it and the stand for free, and i bought a light in the attic for a dollar. haha check out some garage sales if u are in the mood.
but congrat on ur boooks. u gonna read all those
@azndood4you - garage sales have some good deals. i'd like to buy these cheap books and sell them online but lots of time they are already filtered out for the good ones. i'm gonna try to read all the books. maybe skim the really boring parts.
