i sorta had like a near death experience type of a situation yesterday and thanks to that i was able to live my life a little differently today. i am learning to go easier on myself. life is too short to be stressing out. i learned today that i can actually get through work with minimal emotional stress. i was going 100% speed score all the way through before. i didn't think of ways to take care of myself. the trick is to go 100% speed score while scanning the items.. but in between customers, it's important to take a 5 second break. that way i am able to relax while doing my work. no wonder i was so tired by the end of my shifts. also when working out... i am just doing 1 set of each exercise now. forget working 3 sets at high reps until totally fatigued. i am not working out to become an olympian, it should actually feel good to workout and feel refreshed at the end of it. so, these 2 portions of my life have been chilled out a little. i think it's a good thing. life is seriously too short to be feeling any kind of discomfort when it can be prevented with a little thoughtfulness.

@Got_Takoyaki - that's a good life philosophy.. it's pessimistic and optimistic at the same time.
