• geico – so easy, a caveman can do it.  background music… “let me be myself”

  hey, don’t  you think this geico commercial with the caveman is sorta stealthily condescending on part of geico corporate? basically they are comparing us the potential consumer to a caveman and saying their services are easily acquirable because the process is very simple. fuck that. i would never get their insurance, just because of that commercial. i’d rather pay $100 extra a year just to stay out of caveman status. buffet and his corporate buddies must be laughing at the public stupid enough to get mocked and still buy their services. i guess it’s the same mechanism underlying the “xxx for dummies” books. people consider themselves stupid so they feel comfortable buying books titled that way. i guess it’s the same mental trick behind these cavemen commercials. hey, a caveman can do it, i can do it too! retarded. side note, there is a hispanic boy who does carts at our ?arget that looks exactly like that geico mascot. it’s pretty amazing how similar he looks to them.
