-i think i found the bestest way to do curls... it's unconventional, i never seen anyone do it this way before. but it fucking works very well. you basically adjust the height of the pulley on the cable machine to just above your shoulder and you grasp the handle with your arm straight forward and you curl it above your shoulders passing your face and and behind the ear. and you pull outwards. boom. it hits really precisely and there is no way your biceps won't improve. it's the utmost you can isolate that muscle. atleast for me. when you do normal curls you hit a limit where you own biceps get in the way. but by having the pully above your shoulder, nothing gets in the way and you can curl as far as the body can handle. boom. you are standing while doing this. if you can't understand my imagery, imagine punching someone behind you shoulder.
-i got 48 surveys and 2 red cards today. i don't think anyone can match me anymore on my surveys. one dude was trying to compete with me, but i think he is too overweight to handle the pressure i give him on surveys because you have to walk all day long. he does have the record of 63. but, that was a one time deal. he really got pissed i got 53 and broke his record. he came back strong, but long term, he can't handle me. i think i won. one good thing about being in shape is being able to walk around all day without really getting too tired.
-i think they are going to promote me to the photo area. cashiering is honestly, living hell.. if you put in more than 4 hours. imaging scanning items and helping over 300 customers all day long. imagine all the complaints you get and all that time standing in one place. it is not easy. photo seems easier. the guys there are just chilling. yes, they do have to prepare the pictures, but it seem much easier than cashiering. i hope i get the spot. one of the veterans moved out of town and is leaving, so they will be looking for new people to fill in the photo position.

yo...one reason why you dont see ppl doing it is because its prbly not the correct form. Its not the amount of weight or the reps you do to increase strength and size, its the form.
i highly recommend you dont go off inventing your own method...especially when you workout without a partner. Workout has been around for awhile, if it was the right way, im sure Arnold would have done it. You're feeling the burn because your body is not used to that form. But that shouldnt be enuf evidence to say that its the right way. Not to say that your method doesnt work, but safety should be the utmost importance. You should try it when u workout with me.
Try this...
Flex your bicep regularly...with the flex position, turn your wrist slight outward (fist pointing outside of your body). You should feel your bicep tighten. Now, if you curl with free weight, slightly twist your wrist as you curl. If you use curl bars, try not to go with the flat bar, use the proper one with the angles.
@beeflolo - yep, that extra twist outwards really works it the the utmost. i do that with this standing cable method. i work with really low weights, and it's a cable so i don't need a partner for it. i do understand that it is an original method that hasn't been examined by professionals so it does run the risk of it being improper. seems to work really well for me tho. i keep it less than 10 reps and it's only about 15-20 pounds.
i'll show you how i do it, next time we work out together.
