  • a male customer made one of our girl cashiers cry yesterday. i don't understand why some customers have the need to go all-out on some child. really unnecessary. there are some incredible asshole customers. they talk and treat people like how you wouldn't even treat your enemies. it really reflect how they behave in their household. some of it is brushing off on me.. maybe in a good way, maybe bad. i don't put up with shit anymore. if i don't like something, i don't have the desire to bullshit and waste time with. in a way i like this. i am ripping away all the politeness and congeniality and really discovering what i want and don't want. all thanks to the asshole customers. also, they are teaching me tolerance. i can withstand a lot now. i think i can get better at it too. what i notice is that if you react with no negative emotion whatsoever, cater to their needs, and ignore their asshole-ness... even the biggest ass-holes observe and feel and understand the significance of this and end up loosening up and complimenting. i think some know exactly how they are and what they are doing. usually their behavior incites anger or agitation, so when they see someone not phased by it at all, it surprises them.
