  • people who smoke too much have this fucked up aura. their face looks a little palish, like when i'm feeling sickly. their skin is sorta dry looking. especially a waste when the girl is good looking. she could be even hotter if she stopped smoking and took care of her body. cigs are a waste of money, potentially causes cancer, makes you look dry & sickly. why do people smoke again?

  • i'm getting so used to being around people that i feel like something is missing when no one is around. damn, what a difference. i used to hate going out in public. now, i can't be without it. what a huge change. hopefully this emotional breakthrough of sorts will link itself to other spurts of growth in related areas.

  • there's something psychologically deflating about lifting max all the time. not only is it stressful and painful trying to lift the most weight possible, it is mentally draining. i might go back to going high reps on lighter weight. build up my confidence. also, i'm getting older, i don't need this excess weight to drag around everywhere. i mean it looks tougher, but really i'm not really looking to fight in UFC any time soon. maybe i'll do 1 low rep high weight, then... 1 high rep low weight. just to make sure i get a little of both. a compromise of sorts.

  • supplements & dreams.

calcium, vitamin d, magnesium combo supplement before sleep creates really rational, calm dreams.

multivitamins before sleep creates chaotic dreams.

alcohol before sleep makes me dream of being highly social and sexually active.

  • alternative lesser sin strategy.........

so i get these crazy urges these days to eat ice cream. i know exactly how this trend started, but that's not important. fine, i get these urges, it's natural to want to eat tastey foods. and so far, i have lost all battles against cookies & cream, napoletan sandwiches, cookie sourdough.  but i finally thought things out and came up with a powerful solution.

it's satisfying the urges, but with a lesser sin or healthier alternative.

when i get the icecream urge so bad that i am about to buy a 3-6 dollar box of ice cream. i will just buy myself a bag of archer farms mixed nuts and fruits. and eat that instead. or a sandwich full of healthy content, or a small salad. anything that is healthier.

this is actually a compromise because i will already be violating my volume limit for the day. but, atleast it won't be ice cream anymore.

  • Red meat linked to risk of earlier death

Eating red meat increases the chances of dying prematurely,
according to a large federal study offering powerful new evidence that
a diet that regularly includes steaks, burgers and pork chops is
    hazardous to your health.

The study of more than 500,000 middle-age and elderly Americans
found that those who consumed the equivalent of about a small hamburger
every day were more than 30 percent more likely to die in the following
10 years, mostly from heart disease and cancer. Processed meats also
    increased the risk.

The new study is the first large examination of the relationship between eating meat and overall mortality.

In contrast, routine consumption of fish, chicken, turkey and other
poultry decreased the risk of death slightly, the study found.

Although pork often is promoted as "white meat," it is believed to
increase the risk for cancer because of its iron content, said Rashmi
Sinha of the National Cancer Institute, who led the study published
today in the Archives of Internal Medicine.

"This would be the Rolls-Royce of studies on this topic," said Barry
Popkin, a professor of global nutrition at the University of North
Carolina, who wrote an accompanying editorial.

There are many explanations for how red meat might be unhealthy:
Cooking red meat generates cancer-causing compounds; red meat is also
high in saturated fat, which has been associated with breast and
colorectal cancer; and meat is also high in iron, which also is
believed to promote cancer. People who eat red meat are more likely to
have high blood pressure and cholesterol, which increases the risk of
heart disease. Processed meats contain substances known as
nitrosamines, which have been linked to cancer.

The American Meat Institute, a trade group, dismissed the findings,
saying they were based on unreliable self-reporting by study
    participants.

  • i figured out how to wear cologne. you wear it on your undershirt. if you put it on your skin, it's a lottery you don't know what da fuck kind of scent you will be creating. but, if you put it on your undershirt you are guaranteed to just smell the original scent. now, if you splashed it on your jacket or main shirt, if you wear it again, you will be mixing different colognes and also create a lottery scent. undershirts or beaters you change daily, so the scent will be reset and clean everyday.

  • ps: i learned on the history channel that when an eletric eel shocks it's enemies or prey, it shocks itself too. lol
