• you know those guys gathering carts in the parking lots to push them back into corporate stores? they work for the SAME PAY for PHYSICALLY DEMANDING work done in the SUMMER HEAT, in THE RAIN and THE COLD during the WINTER. these guys are putting in TIMES 3 sweat and effort compared to those workers chilling inside the store. THEY DESERVE TO BE PAID EXTRA. and yet they are paid the same minimum wage as everyone. they are people who are usually not as intelligent as the workers inside, but that doesn't give corporations the right to give them SLAVE WAGES for ACTUAL SLAVE work. noone sticks up for these guys and these people are scared to get laid off if they complain, so they continue to work the worst position for shit pay. i'm not a cart attendant, but i really feel for them because i know how tough it was pushing and putting stuff on the shelves all day long. imagine that same pressure to work quickly, but outside in the sun's heat and cold rains. this whole society is a legalized pyramid scheme and the people with the brains are organzing it and the people with less brains are being madoff'd out of their time, sweat and effort. some corporations donate 5% of their income to charity. why not just increase the pay of the cart attendants with that money.
