i found a good book... i think it's gonna change my life, how i approach attaining goals. it teaches how to reward positive behaviors, goal attainment with positive reinforcers (rewards) my style has been totally about discipline without any system of reward. and, rewarding myself without doing anything. lol maybe this will put some sensible structure into my behavior. i'm still on the first 2 chapters... i'm on the chapter where i get to list all my positive reinforcers..a list everything i enjoy doing. these will be my rewards for when i do something positive.
"The more immediately a piece of behavior is followed by a re-inforcer, the more effective that reinforcer will be in establishing that behavior."
books are always like this... first 2-3 chapters are simple, useful, full of clarity... then, it starts to really get complicated and loses me as an audience.

what's the title and author?
the success factor by dr. robert sharpe & david lewis. it was at my library, for free.
Haha, i was about to ask title and author too. I mean, you mentioned so much and left out the title and author! Hahaha... but those books teaching you how to be successful and stuff is not really my thing. I like fictional stuff, it's more realistic!
@millyvanillyy - i've been wanting to try fictional lately. maybe scifi
