• vegetable heaven.

  

  so, i've been eating relatively heathly again and working out consistently.
  if there's anything left i can brag about in life, it would be my healthy living habits.

  my parents took off for las vegas for a 3 day thingie. and, usually i order all the vegetables from my dad at his store. and, there was no veggies left in our fridge.. so i went off to shun fat supermarket where i heard from winnie & alan that vegetables are dirt cheap there.  it was true.

  my receipt...

  avocado   .89
  tomato x2 .53
  lettuce      .99
  cilantro     .33

  total :      2.74

  

  dude.... it's plenty of volume and it's so damn cheap.

  that's 2 side salads at jack-in-the-box.

  i can prolly make 10 side salads from the $2.74 i bought.

  

  i didn't realize how much cheaper it is to make food on your own.

  today was a good day.

  2009 is gonna be about extreme healthfulness!
