i was doing some file organizing and found a free 5k i forgot about. some dude jacked my vehicle and was court ordered to repay me 5k for stolen item and damages caused to the vehicle. i was rich back then, and felt sorry for his mother who had to pay so i just let the non-payments go. but, i need the cash now, i'm gonna call his probation officer and force him to pay. this happened back in 2003. i wonder if i can still get the money back.
ps: after calling the probation department, the balance owed to me was actually 2374.21. i still need to track down the probation officer. i'm getting all this down tomorrow. too late tonight. dude, this is 4-5 months of ?arget cashiering. it's huge money now. lol

@millyvanillyy - i am guessing that i would be able to. it's only been 5 years and it's a court ordered restitution that can't be overturned. so... hopefully i get it.
you can get it back..if they have the funds...weird..i had the same problem around the same time for the same amount of money...you can collect with interest. My original total i had to pay was about $2800...with interest they garnished $5gs outta my bank account, in less then 24 hours after i got served....dammit..i forgot about that judgement..LOL...
