  • at&t

    my mom lost her cellphone. so, i went into at&t today.
    i decided to combine my whole family's cellphone lines into one account.
    saves us $30.00/mo now. yay. total of $360/year.
    plus, i found out i get a ?arget discount. 9%/mo $108/year yay
    the cellphone was only $30 because one of the lines were ready for an upgrade. yay
    the at&t rep was really helpful and patient.
    all of the above took probably 1 hour.
    all in all, my mom losing her cellphone actually saved us money in the long run.
    twisted luck, but i'll take it.
    now, i have to teach my mom how to use the new cellphone.
    i'm screwed.

  • my aunties cell phone had pictures of up her nose.her thumb.her hair.her purse, etc. stored on it. i asked her why she took such weirdo pics and she said. "i don't have a camera on my phone."  i asked if she wanted me to show her how to use it and she told me to take it in to be fixed beacuse she did not take any pictures. um, yea. *sigh*

  • @justanasianmutt - lol it probably accidentally took pics. my mom calls me all the time and never picks up. the buttons get pressed in her purse. it's too funny. :D i won't tell my mom her phone has a camera on it so i don't have to how to teach her. i learned my lesson after trying to teach her the dvd recorder.

  • hmmm thinking of switching to at&t next..i remember when it took me like 3 yrs to teach my mom how to use her vmail.  now she texts me!  i'm so proud of her lol

  • @cindee_rella - wow ur mom rocks. i am not even gonna try to teach my mom how to text. :D

  • Oh, luckily my mom knows all the functions on her phone or else i'd be stressed out too :) Not to mention, she definately knows her texting since she texts so much (probably more than me, can you believe it?). & she takes pictures on her phone too.. she's a genius :) So i never really had a problem being stressed abouts' teaching my mom how to use her new phone, 'coz she'll just sit there for like an hour or something reading the manual, hahaha :)

  • @millyvanillyy - ur so lucky you have a genius mom. i have always had to teach my parents how to do things, when it comes to technology. lol
