  • freeway brainwashing.

all of a sudden the traffic slowed down from 75mph to about 45 mph.
then, i looked up and saw the electronic freeway sign.
sign read... "don't speed, saves lives, saves GAS."
    lol
usually, the traffic doesn't slow down this slow when it reads, "don't speed, save lives."
tells you, people care more about saving GAS than lives.
    lol
it worked so well people were going TOO SLOW.
and that speed lasted a few miles too.
until a few leaders realized how retarded it was for everyone to be brainwashed so easily by the sign.
    then, everyone back to 75mph.

  • being alive is plenty.

i'm just thankful that i am alive.
i'm just thankful i am given an opportunity to have a job.
i'm thankful that i have friends.
i'm thankful that i have family.
i'm thankful that my basic human needs are met each day.
i'm thankful i can type to make this blog post.
    i'm thankful for my health.
    i'm thankful for chi (puppy).
i'm thankful for all that i have, right now.
    i'm very thankful.

the basics rock, and it is plenty.
anything more, would just be bonus play.
adding to that which is already plentiful.

"i am friendly" for life. :D

being able to derive satisfaction from the most basic privilege of being alive is very powerful.
when i discovered this today, all my greed, ambitions, and pain were wiped clean for that moment.
and i found my self very satisfied and thankful for just having a job and being able to work.

i'm still gonna gain 10 pounds of muscle by 2009 tho. yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

thank you china for hosting the 2008 olympics, that was splendid. :D

  • can i help you find something?

i'm becoming a professional at helping people at work.
it's my job to ask customers, "can i help you find something."
and, even if i feel like crap or tired, i have to help them.
    this is really good training.
i can use this skill in real life.
i'll use the same momentum of helpfulness on friends & family, wherever i can.
i just increased my value as a human being.
and being paid to learn these skills, that will make my life more fulfilling.
i wonder if there are any other skills i'm absorbing at work, that i can use in real life.
    hmmnmmm
    :D

then, they say they will refund my money, up to 12 dollares.
it has  BIFIDUS REGULARIS in it.

one of my co-workers calls me dan active. it short from dannon activia.

  • olympics event menu change

bboy'n, breakdancing should be olympic events.

seriously, the body movement, body control, level of skill that is required is higher than most olympic sports.

the movements are more intricate and much more fun to watch.

it also allows for freedom of expressing one's own personality unlike many olympic events that seem very stiff and controlled.

    it has MUSIC too.

    hellzyay.
