spring rocks. especially on the pch up near malibu. the yellow & purple flowers are at full blossom. wish i knew what they were called. take a right on one of those windy roads w/ the seemingly enless waves of yellow flowers. you won't be disappointed. it will take you to higher elevation where you can look down at the huge pacific ocean. pick a nice sunny day. very fresh air. the best.

they are gonna open up a 24 hr fitness on atlantic & hellman. (monterey park) it's walkable distance. totally unexpected, good news. good bye, ballys! i bought a weight scale today at costco. it has a blue backlight, i can see how much i weigh in the dark. lately, 158-160ish. recently found out i'm 5'8.5, not 5'9.5. i'll just say i'm 5'9. it's not a lie, just rounding up. i wonder what my bmi is.

i think i want to delete my american name and become "shinji m." not "daniel shinji m." i used to go by shinji m. until the 3rd grade. my 3rd grade teacher couldn't pronounce my name right, so i told her just to call me daniel instead of shinji. i stuck w/ daniel thereafter.

i've been hanging out in the yahoo japan chatrooms again. my japanese is improving, but my english is hitting the shitter. it feels weird typing in english. it's been a while.

spring is here. the temperature is up again. i wish it could be like this all-year-round. i need to figure out a way to live in spring temperature permanently. everybody, enjoy this good weather!!! ^^

chi is sitting on my lap. she got an ear infection a few weeks back. i think it's better now. i have to schedule an appointment w/ the vet soon.
