capitalsim rocks
finally bought myself a wireless mouse. the chord running from my old optical mouse was the last ugly thing chill'n on my desk. it's gone now, so thankful.
i also attempted to get rid of the network wire running from my old room to this one by buying a wireless cisco/linksys router and adapter. but after installation, i realized that i lost about 2mbps of internet speed. since i value internet speed over wireless-aesthetics, i promptly returned the items and best buy re-credited my disover credit card. how convenient is that? you can try stuff, rip the wrapping, open the box and still get your money back, fully. capitalism rocks.

oh, nice entry too man. haha, hooray for capitalism!
Sweet! Did you get wireless keyboard too? I assume you picked up a wireless G or Pre-N. Both of those operate faster than your internet, I'm sure. I think something was not configured correctly between your computer and the router causing the drop in speed. Or someone else was sharing the same router transmission channel. Or you had some other interference. Did you try diagnosing and fixing the problem? I think Linksys has a free 800 support number.
