krump'n
so i ended up ordering the premium movie channels today. wtf, it's so cheap. maybe it's because i was flat broke before and even $23/mo seemed like a million $ a month to me. hbo/showtime $13, cinemax/encore $10. the cable box had a hard time initializing itself so called in charter and they fixed that up quick. first show that i ended up watching, still watching right now, is "rize". it's a movie about ghetto black dancers krump'n. i actually think asians are better dancers than black people bc their moves are quicker, crisper, and elegant. but, it may actually come down to personal taste. black people exude this raw and uninhibited sexual energy and power that's pretty impressive to look at. to each his own. there was a time tho, when i would watched this type of movie and really think the performers were the shit. but now, i realize... the ghetto is the last place u wanna come from. last place u wanna be at. seriously... it's all about trying to get out of the ghetto and getting as close as you can to a refined upper class lifestyle. but da soul within me did take over and break-loose for a few minutes and i found myself krump'n in my room with as much fervor as any of these nigguh's on this tv show. i think i dislocated one of my hips on one of the moves. but, it's ok, it was worth it. krump'n is aiight, for a few minutes, but don't plan on making it a lifestyle.
oh yea, i think having movie channels is much smarter than having a dvd collection. i spent over $30 on a few movies the last couple of days. (glad i got, catch me if you can tho) w/ the same money, i can watch literally hundreds of movies in a span of a month. the premium movie package comes w/ 34 channels! and, i think i can dvr these movies too onto my harddrive.
