my new goal is to learn atleast 3 new things each day. it doesn't matter how insignificant the new knowledge is.
got up, went to the gym at 9am. wth right? i usually don't get my physical engine started till about 11-12am'ish. i even surprised myself. i think i found a gem of a supplement. i'm gonna keep this one a secret, but i think it's responsible for the increased energy and alertness when i woke up. anyhow, morning gym people are so different from the late-risers and the night-lifters. they seem to be of a different ilk. these people have more positive energy, creativity and exude an aura of kindness & love. i call them creative because they don't seem to be stuck on one pattern of doing things, many of them had their own way of going about their routines unafraid of sitting on the floor doing weird stretches or just shaking themselves loose in a carefree fashion. the normal crowd is usually so concentrated on looking cool, not wanting to look like a dumbass, stick to orthodox routines of doing things. just the fact that these people have the dedication and the energy to get their asses to the gym proves they are hella healthy to begin. maybe these people are getting in a work out before going to work. in any case, i was very impressed. i don't know if this was a fluke on my part, but getting to the gym in da early am does feel pretty good.
last night, it was poker night at alex's. dinner was hawaiian food. i went ALL-IN and fucked up on my first game. BUT i was able to sneak in a 2nd place on the 2nd game and won 60. it was 40 to participate, so i ended up +20 for the night. Alex got 1st place. i taunted/poked at him a little, saying he usually doesn't last long in poker games. but he proved me very wrong on this occassion. nice play alex. i was very impressed. nippon sweep 1 & 2 last night.
poker's a really fun game, we should have poker nights more often.

Madonna
reportedly shocked fellow passengers on a recent transatlantic flight
when she started injecting herself with vitamins instead of eating any
food.
The singer, who turns 49 today, was travelling back to London from
her recent trip to New York and was seen refusing offers of food during
the journey.
An onlooker told Closer magazine: gSeven hours was a long time to go without eating. Madonna was quiet, talking to the air staff only to ask for bottled water.h
gJust before landing, she brought out the phials of vitamins and injected herself.h
The vitamins, believed to be B6 and B12, are said boost energy levels and have been used by the likes of Britney Spears and Geri Halliwell
in the past to give them a boost before gigs. However nutritional
experts claim theyfre unnecessary and potentially dangerous for
otherwise healthy individuals.
few minutes ago.. bot a new pc seat @ ikea @ west covina, my ass is thanking me, the old one was too hard. it saved space and functioned also as a table, but comfort is one importanint factor i skipped before deciding to buy that one. [ass like that]
lunch - eating leftover chowmein w/ diced cilantro and asparagus. [veggie delight]
going to vitamin world in marina del rey later today before going to work @ santa monica. there is a BUY 1 GET 1 FREE sale today. so gonna load up on some l-lysine and maybe echinacea(in preparation for the winter, want to keep my immune system strong). this winter i think i am also gonna be supplementing ginseng and ginkgo balboa. these will keep my blood circulation flowing well and my body temperature warm. i want to see if i can get through a whole winter w/o any colds. [winter's cold]
also, last few days i realized that eating too many supplements is self-defeating. when i started to get religious w/ the supplements at every meal, it was starting to become more stressful and more of a nuisance than anything. so i'm easing up on the vitamins and abandoned my experimentations to find the super synergistic supplement combo. life is so much better when kept simple. my body prolly likes to process vitamins and minerals from natural foods rather than supplements anyways. [minimizing on da supplements]

LOL
i bot some whey protein today at vitamin world. they got some really cheap items compared to GNC. if u are into vitamins and supplements, vitamin world should be something to look into. every first monday and tuesday they have BUY 1 GET ONE FREE. yea, it's insane. a good deal. you need to get a membership, but the membership is FREE. oh hellzyea. i was intending on just eating chicken, eggs for my protein intake, but i decided to get the whey for days that i'm too lazy to fix myself a meal before/after working out. what else, oh yea, i think i've been taking to many vitamins, i'm gonna minimize my supplement intake for a while. also, i think my mind and body are readjusting itself to pre-redwine level. i'm starting to become more productive like before and using my affirmations that i used everyday, pre-redwine. getting shit done efficiently and briskly really feels good.
adustments & improvements
1. non-fat yogurt tastes like non-fat yogurt... upgrading to 1% fat from now on. taste did matter.
2. gingko baloba really works, my mind feels quicker and more flexible today.
3. i curled 40lbs dumbbells 10 times!!! next goal is 45's 10 times.
something hilarious
last week, i saw a baseball lodged into a car window. the window area surrounding the baseball was cracked. ofc it was a fake baseball and fake crack, it was supposed to be a joke. i thought it was a hilarious idea, kinda corny, but funny. then today, i saw the same type of baseball stuck in the window of a different vehicle. i thought, oh no, that thing is starting to spread. then, when i was walking back to my car after buying some shit at costco, i saw the same ornament stuck in a car window, BUT it was a hockey puck!!! hahaha i started laughing. this jokester ornament is getting famous. soon it's gonna be on everyone's car. maybe next will be a basket ball or soccer ball, that's gonna be a huge ornament and crack in someone's window. lol there are so many types of people in this world. especially in LA people want to look cool and fashionable, they tint their windows, get rims, and even lower their cars and pay bigtime $$$ to look rich and affluent. but, there's these people on the other side of the spectrum who don't really care about that stuff and lodge sports equipement into their windows for comedy. just thought the gap / difference between these 2 types of people was so enormous. i would prolly never get the ornament for my window, but glad there are people out there who can enjoy themselves in that fashion.
