  • The Rice Bowl Technique.

    511417_rice_bowl
I dropped my weight from 185pds to 150pds. Here's how I did it..

It's called the "Rice Bowl Technique."

Measure how many rice bowls your current diet consists of.

For instance, let's say you are eating pizza tonight. Eat like you usually would. But before eating it cut it up into pieces and put them into a rice bowl. Measure exactly how much you eat. Let's say you measure 5 bowls of food. This is your starting point.

Then drop the amount you are currently eating by 1 bowl.
    Do that for a month.
Check your weight. If it's not the desired weight, decrease by another bowl.
I started off at 5 bowls. Now I only eat about 2 bowls per sitting. I eat 3 times a day.
I eat whatever I want but try to pull skin off chicken and avoid fats.
It's important to actually measure it by bowls whenever possible because you might cheat and eat more if left to guesstimate.
Less eating is less weight and less work for your digestive system.
If you add excercise to this technique, your weight will be gone quicker.
If you try to stop your intake all at once, you will quit, but by lowering it 1 bowl at a time, it becomes
    realistic and manageable.
    After
I lost the weight, I felt 10 years younger. I became more active, more
confident, willing to go out more. It's worth the effort!
This "Rice Bowl Technique" really worked for
me. You can't argue with success. I created this technique by myself.

    It is not copyrighted.

The next level would be to control the quality of the content I drop into my bowls, but I enjoy eating Hamburgers, French Fries, Steaks, Ramen!

  • Los Angeles Area Museums, Free Admission Days

My MWF's are usually free. I took a walk yesterday from Little Tokyo to US Bank Tower and back. It was a good 3 hour walk, I enjoyed it thoroughly. Walking around w/ sunglasses is much more fun than w/o. I found out that MOCA (Museum of Contemporary Arts) has free admission on Thursdays from 5-8pm. O hellz yea. I thought maybe there might be other deals like this and there certainly was...

MOCA is on there. This free admission list rocks. Now I got plenty of things to explore.
Maybe now you do too. :)

Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) Grand Avenue
The museum houses abstract expressionist pieces to pop art to recent works by young artists. Admission is free every Thursday.
    250 S. Grand Ave., Los Angeles | (213) 626-6222

After the long walk, I stopped by Sto's to pick up the sushi book, and worked out w/ him at 24 hour fitness at downtown Pasadena. Dude, the clients at Pasadena are higher tone than the ones at Rosemead. I'm gonna start working out at Pasadena from now on.

  • Celebrity Sighting at Venice Beach.

blood_in_blood_out_001I used to enjoy watching a movie called, "Blood In Blood Out" It is a B-rated Mexican gangster film from a decade ago. It is full of great lines that are hilarious. You should watch it if you are into this type of movie. Anyways, yesterday while biking from Will Rogers State Beach to Venice Beach, I saw one of the main gang members in the movie. You see the picture above, this is LA ONDA. This is the name of the gang organization in the movie. The guy without the shirt on was who I saw yesterday. He had no shirt on when I saw him too. He was pretty short, maybe 5'4-5. I blurted out LA ONDA. I hope he heard me.  I would have said hi and asked for his autograph but, Venice Beach is so packed on Sundays. It's hard to stop when you're trapped in the motion of pedestrians. BB saw him too. lol This dude was also in Con-Air. His role in that movie was shady as well. I'm starting to realize celebrity sightings is a common thing in LA. So far, mostly B-rated star sightings tho. When do I get to see Brad Pitt ,Oprah or Pditty? The bigtimers? I think I will need to hang out at more high class areas. In due time. I love LA.

    Mukai.

    PS:
    His name is Danny Trejo.

  • backyard experience

Waves of rainbows gently vibrating outwards, unifying, colliding in a sea of warm light gold & deep orange background.. Once the dance had settled, everything turned white. Then I opened my eyes, and there was the sun.

Just shaved my head again in my backyard. I shave it once every two weeks. I like the feeling of a freshly shaved head. It makes me feel clean.

  • Nine West Sunglasses

Is Nine West sunglasses only for females? I was told these were uni-sexual! wth! People been telling me they are only for girls. I don't care though, from a distance I look like a yakuza gangster and that's all that matters. But knowing that they are for females does take away from the yakuza-ness of it all. I can't wait to get loads of money and buy some male sunglasses. Did you know that if you don't wear sunglasses you tend to squint more and when you laugh or smile you get wrinkles next to your eyes? If you wear sunglasses this can be prevented. (Tony) Did you know that if you wear sunglasses you can check out the opposite sex w/o getting detected?(B_A) Did you know that if you wear sunglasses it protects your eyes from bad sunlight? (Dae) These reasons might be obvious and common sensical but I ignored the existance sunglasses all my life. I sorta resented people who wore sunglasses because I felt they were hiding something behind all that blackness. I thought they were just trying to be cool. Little did I know... Sunglasses rock. They are really fun to wear! It's like Halloween, wearing a costume, every time the sunshines a little too bright. O hellz yayuh. I love sunglasses.

  • Peter Berg.

    fryga
So there's this beautiful Japanese lady customer that comes into the store. Never had the chance to talk to her but today she was holding this really really cute chihuahua. So I complimented her on how cute the little doggy was. Small talk begins from here and I'm really content about this. I usually don't strike up conversations with strangers so this is a huge step for me. Not only a stranger, she was hot! OK, things seem to be going well right? Then abruptly I hear this loud male voice say, "You guys sell chihuahua's here?" I'm thinking to myself dude, why is this guy interrupting my conversation! WTF? I respond in a disgruntled voice, "Yes, we do sell chihuahuas." I look up and guess who I see? Peter_Berg No, not THE ROCK. The guy on the left side. When I saw his face the first thought that came to my mind was Aspen Extreme. I used to watch re-runs of this movie on HBO and remembered his face. I didn't even know his name but it turns out to be Peter Berg. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Berg I don't know if any of you know him. Well, the cute Japanese lady leaves and Peter Berg asks me for Marlboro Lights. While I was stooping down to get the cigarettes I was comtemplating whether I should ask him if he was the guy on Aspen Extreme. But I remembered how I scared away David Hasselhoff by staring at him too long. So I decided to play it cool and just leave the guy alone. I don't know whether I should be pissed at the guy for ending my conversation w/ the Japanese lady or to be happy I got to see a Hollywood star & director. In any case, this was a fun-filled 5 minutes excerpt from my life today.

    PS: Cigarettes suck.

PS2: Peter Berg seemed like a really friendly nice person w/ a lot of positive energy. Just the timing made it seem bad, for me personally. He is prolly a hardcore nice person in my estimation! :)
