  • Today.

    Schedule

    1. Day before Thanksgiving is busy at my dad's store so putting in some work from 1pm today.

    2. @ 8pm I am off to LAX to pick up my friend Alex -- back from Thailand.

    3. Was gonna go out w/ Dae & crew afterwards but realized I have work the next day at 7am.

*Lesson learned -- when scheduling myself in for an event, I should think if I have work or anything going on the next day, or else I will end up cancelling at last minute like I am going to do in a few minutes. "Always learn from my mistakes."

    High Energy

This morning, I woke up at 5:30am.
Lately, I've been only getting 4-5hours of sleep and I feel totally energetic and get most errands done before lunch. I think this excess energy is coming from a cessation of a certain activity. BB advised me that I would be healthier if I cut down on that activity and sure enough, I got so much excess energy I don't know what to do w/ it. It's got a another side-effect, when I see pretty girls anywhere I get excited too easily. I need to learn self-control.

    Emotional Tone Control

This morning I learned a new mantra/affirmation trick. Some of my affirmations are really heavy in emotional tone... like "I never hold grudges" or "I learn from my mistakes" If I position these affirmations in my mind and leave them as they are, I find myself w/ a really heavy, dark aura. The new trick is to add a positive, happy, light affirmation right after the heavy one, to balance out the emotional tone. For example... I have a negative thought about a person... I would stop it by saying, "I never hold grudges" THEN I would add to it, "Because I enjoy life and like to feel good!" I think this method is gonna work, will try it for a few days and see how much my emotional tone changes.

  • hahaha...this is too much info, mooks. but good thing you cut down.

  • 3 p's on affirmation, man: Positive (say "i am a non-smoker" instead of "i don't smoke cigarettes"), Present tense ("i earn $320,000 a year" instead of "i will earn $320,000 a year"), and Personal ("i feel terrific" instead of "you feel terrific")

haha, i know that kind of energy.
