  • Penicillin.

I'm not taking penicillin anymore. The abdominal pains are too excruciating. The prescription was for 10 days but I 'm giving up after 5 days. I talked to my pharmacist buddy and he says I am allergic to penicillin and shouldn't take it from next time. Tooth doesn't hurt anymore, so that's a good thing.  Off to work...

Have a very awesome day, ya'll!

  • I can feel it coming.

Man, this penicillin stomach ache is just as bad as the toothache. It's ok though, it has some pleasant side effects. For some reason I'm in a very playful mood.  On the  drive back from work, I usually rap along w/ my favorite biggie songs, usually in a very male, low-toned rap voice, but today, I was creating strange voices like imitating  an old black man,  a hardcore white southern accent w/ twang,  and weak japanese grandmother. I cracked myself up. Why can't I do that kinda stuff around people too, I bet they would laugh. I used to be able to in my college years when I went through my pseudo-enlightenment. My aim since then has always been to become pseudo-enlightened again. When I visited Santa Monica Public Library I asked several attendants questions and each time I was able to interact w/ them w/ a smile and w/ a warm aura. Hmm maybe being sick is suppressing my aggressive side and allowing me to tap into my gentle side. I dunno.. The people around me seemed to treat me nicer than usual. At the store, I told my mom it was really cold and used that as an excuse to hug her twice. I could tell she likes being hugged by me. This is unsual behavior. Maybe I should take penicillin more often. But damn, the stomach hurts so much, I don't know if it would be worth it. Or maybe my months of positive thinking & affirmations are starting to hit a point where it finally is changing my personality. The last few years have been rough for me, but I feel it coming, my pseudo-enlightenment is coming back. This time, I know exactly how I produced it and can sustain it. 1994 was when it happened last, wow 12 years. 12 years I've been searching. I tried everything from Buddhism, to Scientology, to acupuncture, to Christianity, to Atheism, to everything else you can think of to find that pseudo-enlightened state. I think it's close. I love it. If you read this far, thank you for always reading my bullshit, I really appreciate it, and I love you.

    Mukai.

  • Penicillin, 10 more days.

This is pretty rough... I need TheSecret DVD to arrive today or tomorrow to recharge. Off to work, prolly no karaoke practice today, I'll just chill at Venice Beach. Have a good day y'all!

  • Los Angeles Central Library.

10W>101N>exit, right Grand > right 5th > left Flower > parking structure on the left > guess where I'm at. (edit..title gives it away huh? hahaha i crack myself up)

I've lived in Los Angeles for 30 years now and this was the first time I entered the...

    Los Angeles Central Library.

( didn't take this photo. courtesy: google images)
    los-angeles-library

1st hour of parking is $1.00 . So, you know I  finished by business there quickly. It's $1.00 flat rate if you enter the parking structure there after 3pm. But I got there around 1:30pm. Saturdays and Sundays are also $1.00 flat. Nice, it's cheaper than Santa Monica Public Library.

This library is HUGE. If you've been there, you know what I'm talking about. The building reminds me of LAX or a trainstation. The movement of people there is fast paced like they are headed somewhere for business. Multicultural environment. I never saw that many black people in my life. No Damon Wayans today.  Damon WayansI've been sheltered by always being in Alhambra, Monterey Park, and Irvine. My highschool - Loyola High School on Venice was in a shady area, but even there, it was all white people, all boys too. ugh. double ugh.anyways, the building has several floors, like 5-6-7?  I thought it to be a slight inconvenience to have the books classified by floors. If you wanted a history book and and science book, you would have to travel several floors to get both books. sux right? I bet they could fit the whole library on 2 floors, but I think they are going for extravagance. They have art work hanging from above the escalators and all library areas are kept clean and uptone. The DVD area, is like freaking Blockbuster.blockbuster I sware the collection there is so huge and the layout is like entering a video store.

I think though I was most impressed by the scenery that awaits when you walk out the library on all sides. 5th, Hope, etc... as you walk out, you see opulent style garden & fountains w/ HUGE business buildings like Citigroup and US Bank Tower towering above you. There does not exist a moment where I wanted my digital camera more. OMG. So many excellent potential pictures to be taken there. Next time! Only thing though, the garden area is filled w/ homeless people just chillin w/ their newspapers scattered all over the place. Sad. They should stop a few of these fountains & sell off one of the artworks hanging from above the escalators and buy these guys some tents.

On the way out of the library parking structure, I couldn't figure out how to pay! My atm card got stuck inside the machine because I think I entered it upside down. It kept going in and out until finally it stopped coming out. A mexican attendant came to the rescure, opened up the machine and I was on my way. Whew.

For the trip home, I didn't take the 10 Freeway. I felt adventurous and took local  roads that I never took before. I passed by China town, Abraham Lincoln Highschool and ended up somewhere near Hungtington & Atlantic Blvd, where the In-and-Out is. LOL Wasted so much gas for feeling oddly adventurous. I stretched a easy 15 mintute ride home into a 45 minute one. parrot_master_colour_copy Since I was there anways, I stopped by a karaoke shop on Main St. to check their daytime pricing. OMG so expensive like 24/hour?! wth.. that $3/hr shop on Sawtelle is so cheap in comparison. I can't wait to go try it tomorrow!!!

Oh, overall I like the Santa Monica Public Library better. The atmosphere there is so much more chill and the sitting area is nicer and more comfortable. Girls are cuter at SMPL too. :)

PS: I really love music. Listening to it powers me up like nothing else. Dancing to music feels so good. God, thank you for music.

  • Damon Wayans.

Damon Wayans O HELLZ YAYUH. Another celebrity sighting. Biking again today from Marina Del Rey to El Porto. We were aiming at Redondo Beach but the gravel was so rough, BB had a hard time rollerblading so we turned back early. We went to 3rd St. Promenade afterwards. We stopped by JCrew, Aldo, Guess,  Club Monaco, and the Apple store. When we were walking into the Apple Store, we saw Damon Wayans. DAMN! I wish I knew his name, I would have said, "Hi Damon!" or something! damnit! But it's cool, I'm happy I got to see a famous person again. Dude, I'm really starting to see a celebrity atleast once every two weeks. I hope this streak continues. O yea, went to a wonton shop before biking. Thanks BB for lunch!

  • $3/HR Karaoke.

I found a new activity for my long-ass lunch breaks. Karaoke $3/hr(non-happyhour) on Sawtelle, next to the Nijiya. So cheap.. I'm gonna try to put in atleast 1 hour a week. Training for American Idol, I shall become a champion.. muhohohoho!!

  • Dentist Office.

Oprah's magazine has 7 pages of advertising for every 1 featured article. How can you read that magazine, it's more like spam. The cover had so many interesting topics I wanted to read about, but I couldn't find anything.

  • Social Skills.

I believe my social skills are improving. I'm not as reserved as
before and able to talk to new people w/ increased ease. I think the
key is to be able to just be totally honest and verbalize it. The more
I hold back my thoughts and instincts the harder it becomes to have a
conversation. I still have some abrasive & aggresive energies that
I have pent up from 3 years of non-social contact but I feel this is
starting fade away too. I'm starting to smile more and laugh more often
too. My stern grimace is softening up. I think I'm gonna be OK! I'm
very happy about this. Alot more work before I am able to start dating
and allow girls to enjoy my presence, but I'm making progress! O HELLZ YAYUH!

(You don't really have to read beyond this point, it's a summary of all
the people I met last night at George's party. It sorta serves as a
personal diary and helps me w/ my short-term memory by writing it down,
IMO it should be very boring to read. After posting the blog entry, I just realized how long this is. Sorry for brute scrolling your screens.)

Yesterday I went to George's pad
for his Thankgiving (+1 day) party. The evite had 19 people coming, and
it looked like most everyone showed up. So many new people I met.
Everyone was very nice and friendly. George knows how to pick his
friends. I tended to gravitate towards the people I already knew but
was able to talk a lil w/ some new people too.

I saw KENNY for the first time
in 7 years. LOL. He was pretty much the same as before. I enjoyed
talking to him. He was back from NY for the holidays. We talk on MSN
messenger all the time, so we were basically caught up on everything in
our lives. BUT, it's a little different meeting that person in real
life. I was really glad to see him again. YAOL. YAOL. I also met
Kenny's girlfriend MELISSA for the first time. She was very cool.

BB took off early. He had gone
to Cabazon at 4am that morning and only got 4 hours of sleep. Dude, I
only had 1 hour of sleep from my toothache, you shoulda stuck around to
kick Ed's ass at 12am. Noone really kicked Ed's ass though, we just
sang happy birthday on karaoke. ED turned 18, last night. BB's self-made fried rice was good stuff! BB see you Sunday, as usual.

When I got to the party I was under the impression that Ed's parents
had a fist fight the night before. I misread his myspace blog! I was
very relieved to find out that it was George who punched him in the
face in a mutual wrestling match. Still not the best of news, but
atleast it wasn't his parents brawling it out on Thanksgiving night.
    Brothers will be brothers.

Speaking of brothers, I also reunited w/ Ed & George's brother RICHARD
for the first time in a decade. Last time I saw him, he was so young
and in elementary school. He was all grown up. He told stories abou
this experience in Iraq as a soldier and overheard him talking about
house music too. Pretty amazing what changes time can create in a
decade. WTPHO time flies. Did you know that if you get a purple heart
during the war, you get perks such as free medical for life &
children getting free education? Cool huh? I never knew this.

I also met George's girlfriend AMY and her cousin, ANN.
I got to chill w/ them a lil outside next to the bonfire while sipping
on a beer. Both very super nice girls. Amy's cheesecake was delicious.
I cut myself the fattest piece. I'm pretty sure I ate the largest piece
of the whole party. hellz ya. ANDRE (the
cool Russian myspace blogger)and Ed went to the local market and bought
some marshmellows, hershey's chocolate and graham crackers to make
marshmellow sandwiches. Thanks for that! It was very delicious. Amy had
a hard time roasting the marshmellows and it kept falling into the
fire. Danwang tried to teach her how to do it. (When DANWANG walked into the party through the front door, George's dad said very loudly that he looked like HO CHI MIN.
LOL. that was some funny shit, dude. Dan's chili was hella good.) That
steel bonfire aparatus looks so handy to have. It's dope. I want to get
that once I get some cash together. You can move it around anywhere and
lighting and maintaining a fire was a breeze.

(OMG this is getting too long, time to start summarizing. Maybe I
should have formatted this in chronological order, it's so messy
picking random events from the night. Oh well, next time. )

I karaoke'd w/ Ed & Taylor. TAYLOR sings really well & gives the best goodnight hugs. Richard Do sings really well too.

I got licked in the face by SOKO & PHIL's little doggy - OREO. So cute! I washed my face afterwards.
Soko pretended to throw a plate into my face but stopped 5 inches away.
Phil was rapping hard. I can tell he is a good dancer too. Let's go
clubbing one of these days. Has to be hip hop music tho. I can't dance
    to trance.

Got to chill w/ Bob & GARRET & Danwang before I took off from the party. We talked about things such as "THE RABBIT." "BDS." "THE STRANGER" Don't
worry, you don't have to know what these things are... You don't want
to know. Oh ya, that bead tool that you guys were throwing around near
the dinner table, where'd you buy that anyways? lol Very glad u didn't
give it to that little baby to walk around w/. hahahaha.

There were many others at the party... Some of them, I didnt even get
to meet. O Ya, I got to see George's parents for the first time in a
long time too. GEORGE'S DAD is so high energy, I love it.

BOB - HANDGESTURES, POP POP POP... SEXY TIME!!!! (Do you hev pussy megnet? Line from BORAT)

    ANGELINE, George's very cute
asian roommate was there too. She took off to go dancing later in the
night. She is prolly a really good dancer from what I can tell.

Also met a couple & and their very lovely, curious baby child who
was only 1.5 years old. I forgot the parents name, I'm sorry. Also a
middle eastern lady who didn't get to meet, later found out she speaks
9 languages. WTF! Also, there was a hispanic person w/ long hair, but I
didnt meet him either. Oh ya, Ed's caucasian friend at the bonfire, his
name slipped my mind too, met him as well briefly. So many people, so
many names, need to work on my name memorization skills.

GEORGE of course, was THE MAN.
He organized this whole thing, made sure all his guests felt at home
and had a great time himself. I could tell he was drunk the 2nd half of
the night. One sign that gave this away was that he kept pelvic
thrusting the air whenever he heard good music and yelling, "It's soooooo
crazzzy" hahahahaha George thanks for organizing these parties dude,
let me know when you need to install the sprinkler system, I'll be
    there.

HOLY! This must be the most disorganized blog entry yet! Maybe I took too much IBUPROFEN or maybe the PENECILLIN
is kicking in. Either way, that was one fucked up entry. I had a great
time at the party though. I will try to make it to the Christmas party
too on Dec. 31st, hosted by George.

Off to the dentist now, appointment at 10am. There is an infection underneath one of my teeth. Sexy time!

  • Toothache.

First time in my life I can't wait to see the dentist. I bit a hard piece of gum the other night and aggravated one of my teeth. Thank God for dentists, I never thought I would say this. Trying to make an appointment but they aren't even open yet. Prolly had less than 4 hours of sleep again last night. This time, not for high energy, but because my teeth hurt so much. Once I get this fixed though, I'll be back on track, can't wait.

Day after Thanksgiving, no dentists are open. OMG.

Thanks Black_Apron for the suggestion! I tried calling a dozen dentist but they were all closed. When I called 1800_DENTIST, the lady there hooked me up w/ a dentist who was williing to open office although she was closed.
    I feel much better. :) ))
