  • Recent Highlights.

On Tuesday, I met Altonfrom MTV's Real World at the  b39607490 "Rings"
at Santa Monica Beach . Alton was a very chill, down to earth person. :)

Made hella progress on the rings that day! A really buff
caucasian guy named Chuck who has been training on the rings for 2 years
already.. taught me a few tips on how to create more power in my swing.
Oh man, he really hooked me up. After a lesson from him I was catching
unbelievable  air ! Today, I went rock climbing  w/ my good friend TL at
Long Beach. I thought rock climbing looked really easy but I
underestimated how much stamina is necessary. I should have eaten some pasta before hand. Holy sh*t! it's freaking tiring, but it was a great cardio work out. It was $15 for the whole
day w/ harness. After leaving Long Beach, I drove over to Pasadena to chill & learned how to make
    Okonomiyaki w/ my friend
SA. VL brought some Coconut Cream pie, my favorite type of pie. One, two, maybe 3 slices too many! So f'kn good!! omg!! I need to work it off hard tomorrow.

OK, this picture this is really taxing. I'm gonna just type now.

I reunited w/ a whole group of old dorm friends on Sunday. They treated
me like I had never left. I was so happy to see that each of them had
become very successful in life, in love, in business.

I am awe struck by the importance of friends (on/offline) and how
blessed I am to have so many that are caring, understanding and loyal.
I am determined to keep growing and improve myself so that I will be a
positive, stable influence in each of their lives.

**DW sent me a porn link to my aim messenger. I clicked on it, and left
the room. My mother walked in the room for whatever reason while I was
gone. She never walks into my room, WTH! "Shinchan ecchi na mono miteta
desho?" (Shinji, you were watching naughty things weren't you?) LOLOL!
Oh well, atleast she knows I'm not gay. DW, no more porn link please,
    tia.

AY, have fun in Japan dude!

Cell phones. One of the biggest driver distractions these days is a cellular phone. You're four times more likely to crash when you combine cell phones with driving. Use hands-free features if you make a call while driving. Better yet, don’t make calls while driving. If the phone rings, let the call go to voice mail. If you absolutely need to talk while driving make sure the phone is within easy reach.

Finally finished the online traffic school. I have a feeling I didn't even have to read the whole thing. I should have just read the quiz questions at the end of each chapter. So glad, it's over. Good Night! :) ))))

  • Online Traffic School: Chapter, Road Rage.

I'm still not finished with online traffic school! Haven't felt this crampy, MUST STUDY feeling since collge. I'm so glad I'm not in school anymore.

Last time I road raged, I gave the finger to a person who was making an illegal merge into my lane. After holding it for atleast 5 seconds, I checked the mirror and saw an old lady in her 70s or 80s. I felt bad. The moral of the story: always check before fully committing to unleashing your road rage on a stranger. Just kidding.. below you'll find superior advice I cut and pasted from my online traffic school.

How not to trigger road rage in people:

    1) Avoid direct eye contact. Glaring, head
shaking and scowling may incite others to violence.

    2) Relinquish the road. Get out of the angry
driver’s way. Do not engage the driver in competition or attempt to outrun him
    or her.

    3) Apologize. If you make a driving error,
show remorse by mouthing the words, “I’m sorry” or slapping yourself on the
    head.

    4) Be 100% behind the wheel. Keep your full
attention on driving to reduce the likelihood of earning other drivers’ ire.

    5) Take evasive action. If someone’s
aggression escalates to rage, drive at a safe rate of speed to a nearby police
station, fire station, or populated area.

I'm gonna try number 3 one of these days..."slapping yourself on the head" to gesture apology... I want to see the other person's reaction. I don't think I've seen anyone do this before. If someone did that, I would probably laugh pretty hard.

  • Tank Abbot.

I met Tank Abbot  and shook hands w/ him at
Dog Beach of Hungtington Beach. For those of you who don't know who this is. He was a UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) fighter. He was very huge. I'm glad I met him! He was the very first famous person I shook hands with. When I was in elementary school, I once met Charles Bronson I tried to shake his hands, but he just did a gun pose  with his hands and shot a few imaginary bullets at me. Wow! uploading pictures is a pain.

edit - deleted the photos by accident.

  • Old, Good College Friends.

It's really odd & wonderful... This past month I've been  getting reunited w/ old college friends, left and right. First was at Ballys Fitness at Rosemead..VL&AP. We go out to dinner at San Gabriel and meet up w/ CC, DK, SA. That's 5 right there. Then today, bunches at Friendster. So far 2, JJS&BS have replied. JJS was my roommate in the dorms. So happy to find both of them. Discovered so many others too. I really wish we had the internet and blogging during my college years. It makes communication so much quicker. I was a freshman @ UCI in 1994-5, so it's when email and irc was just getting popular. Google wasn't even out yet. I don't think. Yahoo messenger? Huh? Youtube, no way. It was so bad back then.. we were downloading pr0n at 2400bps. jk It wasn't that bad. Y'all have it sooo good tho. Friendster is really good for finding old friends. I highly recommend it...  http://www.friendster.com/
Reunited and it feels so good~

  • PCH & Sunset.

Went surfing (more like paddling out and watching other people surf) yesterday at PCH & Sunset. Got there around 4pm. The water was freaking cold! So glad summer is over -- the crowds are back to work and school. So much easier to find parking & PCH isn't has jammed up. I read online that Sunset was a good beginner spot, but there were large rocks near the shore, so I don't know what they are talking about. Maybe it's good for semi-novices but not good for a ultra-newbie like me. Gonna return to one of my favorite spots.. Zuma Beach. That place has fewer people, scenery of the mountains is nice & the shore doesn't have dangerous rocks. I might be able to practice at Santa Monica, Venice Beach, Hungtington, but those areas seem really crowded and it feels like the city. When I go out to the beach, I like the feeling of being away from the busy city. Farther north (Malibu, Zuma, Borderline, etc) and south (Newport Beach, Dana Point, Laguna.. etc) of the PCH feels fresher, cleaner & more serene. Looks really cold out there today outside my window, I hope it gets sunny soon.. I really really want to stand up on my surfboard for the first time. I still haven't managed to do that yet!

Just checked online if my mega millions lottery ticket was a winner. I always get 1 number right. Practice makes perfect. Eventually, I will get all 6 of them right. muhoho

B_A, These are my lucky nekos. This how they look close-up. lol
I bought them for 93cents each at a Gift Shop on 1st St.. Couple of stores left of the Miyako Hotel.
The blue elephant in the background.. I'm not sure when, where or who it came from. I've been using it as a luck charm for some time now, nonetheless.

I was just taking a shower and it occurred to me. If a person who does absolutely no excercise does 1 push up a day... that's 365 push ups, in a year. That's pretty huge. 0 push ups compared w/ 365 pushpups, annually. Now, if a person is always negative. If this person decides to think 1 positive thought each day, that's 365 positive thoughts in a year that he/she wouldn't have thought that year. 365 extra positive thoughts, that might have a small but good impact on a person. Ok, I have to go to Costco now, later.
